Ceramic film, no signal interference
Metal-based films weaken the phone key, GPS and cellular reception. The ceramic film used on Teslas here is non-metallic, so nothing changes in how the car connects.
Door glass and one-piece rear window
Film is hand-cut and heat-shaped on a glass board; the rear window is done as one sheet with the defroster lines left intact.
Model 3, Model Y, Model S, Model X and Cybertruck
Each has its own pattern. The Cybertruck's flat panels and the Model X's tall doors take different amounts of time, so pricing is per model.

Westchester to the shop
Westchester is about 12.1 miles away, roughly 24 to 29 minutes outside rush hour. Hours are Monday through Saturday 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, closed Sunday. Make an appointment, then wait at the shop or drop the Tesla off and collect it once the film is on.
You can wait inside with free Wi-Fi, Netflix on the TV, seating, a restroom and a water fountain, or walk to the mall, a movie theater or a Starbucks nearby while the Westchester job is finished. We are LGBTQ-friendly and everyone is welcome; it is how the shop runs. From Westchester you can reach us by the 110, the 405 or the 710; the shop is right off the 110 at Avalon Blvd.

How does a Westchester Tesla keep Autopilot working after tint?
The camera cluster at the top of the windshield and the repeater cameras in the fenders are masked before any prep, and the film is cut to stop short of them. Nothing is applied over a camera or sensor, so the view the car relies on is unchanged.
Will tint cause interference with the phone key or GPS?
No. That problem comes from metallic film, which is never used on a Tesla here. Ceramic film contains no metal, so the phone key, cellular data, GPS and the cameras all work exactly as they did before the tint went on.
Is the drive from Westchester to Carson worth it for Tesla tint?
Yes. At 12.1 miles it is under half an hour outside rush hour, and the alternative is trusting a Tesla's cameras to a shop that does not deal with them daily. Customers come from much farther than Westchester for this work.
