The glass is flat, so there is no heat-shrinking, but the panes are enormous and the frame lines are dead straight. We template each window, cut the film on a board, and install it in one piece lined up to the edge. Ceramic film keeps a cabin with that much glass from turning into an oven.

The run is about 26.9 miles, roughly 54 to 65 minutes outside rush hour. Open Monday through Saturday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM; closed Sunday. Set an appointment, then drop the Cybertruck off or wait at the shop. Owners have brought Teslas from San Diego for this work, so Glendale is well inside the usual range.

Because the body is stainless and the window edges are perfectly straight. Cutting on the truck risks the finish, and a freehand edge that wanders even slightly is obvious against a straight frame. A template cut on a board gives a clean straight edge and keeps blades away from the body.
For a truck that few shops have tinted many of, yes. The panes are the biggest Tesla makes and the install is template work done away from the body. Many owners drive longer than an hour for this. Book a morning slot and the truck is usually ready the same day.
No. The film has no metal in it, so the phone key, the cellular link and Bluetooth pass through as before. The windshield camera area is left uncovered, and the side and rear cameras are not on tinted glass. Autopilot is unchanged.
The front door glass must pass 70% of visible light, so the fronts stay fairly light. Ceramic film at that shade still blocks most of the infrared heat. The rear doors and rear glass have no shade limit and can go as dark as you choose.
Keep the windows up for a few days while the film cures. After that, clean it with an ammonia-free cleaner and a soft cloth. Ceramic film does not fade, purple or bubble in the sun, so there is nothing else to do beyond ordinary window cleaning.
