West Hollywood Model X owners drive about 18.8 miles to Tesla Tint LA by Audio MotorSports in Carson, 22025 S Avalon Blvd Ste A, for ceramic Tesla window tint. The Model X has the most glass of any Tesla, with tall front doors, falcon-wing rear doors and a wide back window, and every panel is patterned on a glass board here. The tallest door glass in the lineup up front, and rear glass set into the falcon-wing doors with its own curve. Each panel is heat-formed on a glass board and applied with the door open so the edge sits cleanly on the glass line.
Wide, curved and tinted as a single sheet over the defroster grid, with the electronics behind it covered before the glass is wet.
Smaller panels on the 3 and Y, long curved doors on the S, and flat panels on the Cybertruck cut to the trim line. Each model is a different pattern and a different figure.
Camera zones are masked and uncovered. The ceramic film is non-metallic, so the phone key, GPS and cellular reception are unaffected.

Yes. The Model X carries more glass than any other Tesla and the falcon-wing doors have their own shape, so the install is the whole job. The drive is under forty-five minutes outside rush hour, and owners come from over 100 miles for the same work.
Each piece of glass in the falcon-wing doors is patterned on a glass board, heat-formed to its curve, and applied with the door raised so the edge lands on the glass line. The shape is different from the front doors and is cut separately.
Glass area and time. The Model X has taller doors, more panels and a wider rear window, so it spends longer in the bay than a Model 3. Each Tesla is given its own figure at the shop; text us with the year and model.
Yes. The windshield camera cluster and the side repeaters are masked before prep, and the film stops short of each one. Ceramic film has no metal, so there is no interference with the phone key, cellular or GPS.
Book a morning appointment and expect the Model X to take longer than a smaller Tesla because of the glass size. Dropping it off for the day is the simplest plan, though waiting at the shop is fine. Keep the windows up for several days afterward.
