A taller hatch and more rear glass than the 3; the same film and the same edge, with the factory roof glass left alone because it is already dark.
Model S and Model X
The longest and the tallest Tesla glass. Both take more shaping time and more film, and both are quoted by model.
No signal interference
Camera zones are masked and left clear, and ceramic film has no metal, so the phone key and sensors work as before.

Alhambra to Carson
About 19.9 miles, roughly 40 to 48 minutes outside rush hour. Hours are Monday through Saturday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, closed Sunday. Book first; then either wait at the shop or drop the car and come back when it is finished.

No. About 19.9 miles, 40 to 48 minutes outside rush hour, and owners come from more than 100 miles away for the same job. Book a morning slot, drive down to Carson, and the Model 3 is finished the same day.
What is the biggest mistake on a Model 3 tint?
An edge cut short from a plotter pattern. On frameless glass that leaves a visible line of light at the top of the window. We cut each piece on a board to the actual glass so the edge sits at the gasket and stays there as the window drops and rises.
Can the Model 3 front windows be tinted in California?
Yes, at 70% VLT. Ceramic film at that shade looks almost clear and still blocks a large share of the infrared heat. The rear doors and the back glass can go darker if you want more privacy.
Does the tint cause any trouble with Model 3 cameras?
No. The camera areas on the glass are masked off before the film is applied and stay uncovered, and ceramic film has no metal to interfere with a signal. Cameras, sensors and the phone key work the way they did before.
How do I get a Tesla quote from Alhambra?
Text the year and model to the shop. Teslas are quoted by model rather than listed because the film and labor for a 3 and an X are not the same. Nick replies with a number and confirms it at the counter when the car arrives.
