Factory glass with no residue is the ideal surface. Ceramic film on the doors and rear glass goes on clean and starts rejecting infrared heat the day you pick the car up, which is the main complaint with a glass-roofed Model 3 or Model Y.
Every panel is patterned and heat-shaped on a separate glass board. A new Tesla's paint, door trim and headliner are never touched by a blade.
The rear glass is one formed sheet; the door glass is cut to the glass line so the edge is clean when the door swings open.

Camera zones are masked and the ceramic film is non-metallic, so a new Tesla keeps every driver-assist and phone-key function it was delivered with.

Yes, if the plan is to tint at all. New factory glass needs no stripping, and the earlier the film goes on, the earlier the cabin stops heating up through the doors and rear glass. Call us with the delivery week and a slot can be set for just after pickup.

Not when the film is cut and shaped on a glass board away from the car. No blade touches the paint, the door panels or the headliner, and the electronics behind the rear window are covered before the glass is wet.
