South Pasadena Model X owners drive about 20.7 miles to Tesla Tint LA by Audio MotorSports in Carson, 22025 S Avalon Blvd Ste A, for ceramic Tesla window tint. The Model X has more glass than any other Tesla, from the tall front doors to the falcon-wing rear glass and the wide back window, and every panel is patterned on a glass board here. The tallest front door glass in the range, and rear glass set into the falcon-wing doors with its own curve. Each panel is heat-formed on a glass board and applied with the door raised so the edge lands on the glass line.
Wide and curved, covered with a single formed sheet over the defroster grid. The electronics behind it are protected before the glass is wet.
Smaller panels on the 3 and Y, long curved doors on the S, flat panels on the Cybertruck traced to the trim. Each is its own pattern and its own figure.
Camera zones are masked and left uncovered, and the ceramic film is non-metallic, so the phone key, GPS and cellular reception stay the same.
Audio MotorSports can also add a dash camera or GPS tracker to the Model X during the same visit, and handles car stereo, CarPlay and Android Auto, car alarm, remote start and Harley bagger audio for other vehicles.
South Pasadena is about 20.7 miles out, roughly 41 to 50 minutes outside rush hour. We are open Monday through Saturday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, closed Sunday. Book a morning slot, then leave the Model X for the day or wait at the shop and take it home in one trip.

We are LGBTQ-friendly and everyone is welcome; it is how the shop runs. Three freeways lead here: we are right off the 110, and the 405 and 710 drop you close by, whichever way South Pasadena traffic sends you.

Yes. With the most glass in the Tesla range and falcon-wing doors that need their own patterns, the Model X is the car where the install matters most. The drive is under an hour outside rush hour, and owners have come from San Diego for the same work.
Each piece is patterned separately on a glass board, heat-formed to its curve, and applied with the door up so the edge sits cleanly on the glass line. It is a different shape from the front doors and is never cut on the car.
More glass and more time. Taller doors, extra panels and a wider rear window mean the Model X spends longer in the bay. Every Tesla is quoted by model at the shop; text us with the year and model for a figure.
Yes. The windshield camera cluster and the side repeaters are masked before prep, and the film ends short of each one. Ceramic film carries no metal, so there is no interference with the phone key, cellular or GPS.
Book the morning and expect the Model X to take longer than a smaller Tesla. Dropping it off for the day is the easiest plan, though waiting at the shop is fine. Leave the windows up for several days afterward while the film sets.
