Can the Cybertruck's flat glass be tinted cleanly at the corners?
Yes, and the corners are where the skill shows. Because there is almost no curve, the film does not need heat-shrinking, but it has to be cut to an exact pattern so the sharp angles meet the seal without gaps or overlaps. Tesla Tint LA patterns each pane individually for the truck.
Is an hour's drive from Pasadena reasonable for Cybertruck tint?
Yes. The truck is in the bay for a few hours and the install is done once by a shop that tints Teslas constantly. Audio MotorSports has tinted cars for owners who drove from San Diego, so Pasadena is a normal distance. Book a morning slot and you are home by afternoon.
Does ceramic tint affect the Cybertruck's cameras or connectivity?
No. The forward cameras look through a window in the windshield that is left clear, the pillar and fender cameras are never covered, and the rear camera is in the tailgate area. Ceramic film has no metal, so the phone key and the truck's cellular and GPS connections are unaffected.
Why is the Cybertruck rear glass the main heat target?
The tall rear window faces the afternoon sun and sits right behind the seats, so it carries most of the heat load. The factory roof glass is already dark, and the shop films the side and rear glass instead. Ceramic film on those panes cuts cabin heat noticeably.
Does Tesla Tint LA tint other cars in the household?
Yes. Audio MotorSports tints non-Tesla vehicles at the same bay, so a second car can be booked for the same day. Tesla work is quoted by model, while other cars get the standard window tint pricing. Call ahead so both appointments are arranged together.
