Getting here from Gardena
Count on about 4.9 miles and roughly a 10 to 12 minute drive outside rush hour. We are open Monday through Saturday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and closed Sunday. Set an appointment first, then either hand over the keys and run errands or wait at the shop until the car is finished.
You can wait inside with free Wi-Fi, Netflix on the TV, seating, a restroom and a water fountain, or walk to the mall, a movie theater or a Starbucks nearby while the Gardena job is finished. Everyone is welcome; we are an LGBTQ-friendly shop. Coming from Gardena, take whichever is moving: the shop is right off the 110 and easy from the 405 and the 710. Gardena sends us Metro bus operators and plenty of commuters who work at the bigger employers around the 110 and the 405.

How far is the Tesla tint shop from Gardena, really?
About 4.9 miles, which works out to roughly 10 to 12 minutes outside rush hour. Head south toward Carson and look for 22025 S Avalon Blvd Ste A. It is a short enough trip that most Gardena owners wait at the shop rather than making two trips.
Does the Model S need a different film than a Model 3?
Same ceramic film, different cut. The Model S has longer, more curved door glass, so the panels are shaped with heat on a glass board before installation. A Model 3 piece is shorter and flatter. The quote is by model because the glass area and the labor are not the same.
Can I keep my Tesla fronts legal and still cut the heat?
Yes. Front door glass stays at California's 70% VLT, and ceramic film at that shade still rejects a large share of infrared heat. The rear doors and back glass can go darker. You end up with a cooler cabin and no trouble at an inspection.
What happens with the cameras and the rear-window electronics?
They are protected first and left uncovered. The camera zones on the glass stay clear, the electronics near the rear window are shielded during prep, and the ceramic film carries no metal, so your phone key and cameras work exactly as before.
Can someone from Gardena get Tesla tint and other work done in one trip?
