Model Y, Model S, Model X and Cybertruck
The Model Y hatch is taller than the Model 3 rear glass, the S and X have more glass overall, and the Cybertruck is flat panels. Each is a different pattern and a different quote.
Cameras and signals
Camera positions are masked and uncovered. The ceramic film has no metal, so the phone key, GPS and cellular connection stay as they were.

Willowbrook is about 6 miles from the shop, roughly 12 to 14 minutes outside rush hour. Open Monday through Saturday 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, closed Sunday. Book an appointment, then wait at the shop or drop the Model 3 off and come back when it is done.
Plenty of Willowbrook drivers wait inside; there is seating, a TV with Netflix, free Wi-Fi and a restroom, and if you want to stretch your legs a mall, coffee shops and restaurants are a short walk away. Why take a Model 3 from Willowbrook to Carson instead of a closer tint shop?
Because the Model 3's frameless doors and tall rear glass are a routine here, not a first attempt, and at 6 miles the drive is about a quarter of an hour. People come from well over 100 miles for the same job; from Willowbrook it is barely a trip.
What makes Model 3 tint different from a regular sedan?
No door frames, a large curved one-piece rear window and cameras in the glass areas. The door film is cut to the exact glass line, the rear window is done as one formed sheet, and the camera zones stay clear.
Can I keep the Model 3 front windows legal and still cut heat?
Yes. The front door glass stays at 70% light transmission, and ceramic film at that shade still rejects a large share of infrared heat. The rear doors and back window can go darker, which is where most owners put the shade.
How are the other Tesla models priced compared with a Model 3?
Every model is quoted at the shop on its own. The Model Y has a bigger hatch, the Model S and Model X have far more glass, and the Cybertruck's flat panels are a separate pattern. Text us with the year and model for a figure.
Will tint affect the Model 3 cameras or phone key?
No. The windshield camera cluster and the side repeaters are masked and the film pattern stops short of them. Ceramic film carries no metal, so the phone key, cellular and GPS signals are unchanged and Autopilot sees the same view as before.
