Model X and Tesla Window Tint for Manhattan Beach

Manhattan Beach Tesla owners drive 9.3 miles to Tesla Tint LA, the Tesla window tint side of Audio MotorSports at 22025 S Avalon Blvd Ste A in Carson. The Model X leads this page because its enormous front windshield and falcon-door glass ask more of a tinter than any other Tesla. Ceramic film, cut off the car, quoted by model at the shop.

What Manhattan Beach drivers come in for

Model X ceramic window tint

The X windshield runs up over your head, so a lot of owners want a ceramic band or full coverage on that panel to kill the glare. The falcon-wing door glass is tinted with the doors open and the panel supported, so nothing is stressed.

Model 3 and Model Y tint

Smaller glass, but the single rear piece and the curved door glass still need an experienced hand. Ceramic film keeps cabin heat down on a car that sits in beach parking all day.

Model S and Cybertruck

Both come through the Carson bay with their own patterns, and both are quoted after Nick sees the car.

One more thing while it is here

Speaker replacement, dash camera installation, GPS tracker installation and car alarm installation happen in the same shop, so a second service can share the appointment.

Book first, then choose: wait at the shop while the film goes on, or drop the X and come back later in the day. Everyone is welcome here, and the shop is LGBTQ-friendly. From Manhattan Beach you can reach us by the 110, the 405 or the 710; the shop is right off the 110 at Avalon Blvd.

What it costs

Tesla window tint is quoted by model at the shop; a Model X and a Model 3 are not the same job. Google 4.8 (655 reviews) and Yelp 4.7 (777 reviews), as of October 2026.

Questions

Manhattan Beach questions we hear

Can the huge Model X windshield be tinted?

The upper portion can be covered with a ceramic film that cuts glare and heat where the glass sweeps over the front seats, while the driver's view stays within California rules. Nick walks through the options on the car itself so you know exactly what coverage you are getting before any film is cut.

How do you handle the falcon-wing door windows?

Each piece is patterned and shrunk away from the car, then laid in with the door open and supported. The glass is cleaned to the gasket line so the edge sits tight and nothing lifts later. It is slow work, which is why Model X is quoted separately from a Model 3 or Model Y.

Is 9.3 miles from Manhattan Beach worth it for Tesla tint?

Yes, and most owners say so after the first job. The drive is about twenty minutes, the shop tints Teslas constantly, and the film is installed once and correctly. Customers come in from far beyond the South Bay for this; a Manhattan Beach trip is one of the shorter ones.

Will the tint affect my Tesla's cameras, Autopilot or phone key?

No. The forward cameras sit behind a window in the windshield that is left clear, the side repeaters and pillar cameras are never covered, and ceramic film has no metal to interfere with the phone key or the car's own radios. Everything that worked before the tint works after it.

Do you offer a lighter shade for the front windows than the rear?

Yes, and it is the common setup. The front doors go at the California legal level, the rear doors and rear glass can go darker for privacy, and the factory roof glass is already dark. Nick matches the shades so the car reads as one piece from outside.
