Redondo Beach to the shop
About 7.2 miles, roughly 14 to 17 minutes outside rush hour. Open Monday through Saturday, 9:30 to 6:00; closed Sunday. Set a time, then wait at the shop or drop the truck and come back. Wait inside (seating, Netflix, free Wi-Fi, restroom, water fountain) or take a walk: restaurants, coffee shops, a Starbucks, a mall and movie theaters are all within walking distance, which Redondo Beach customers tell us makes the drop-off painless. Everyone is welcome; we are an LGBTQ-friendly shop. Coming from Redondo Beach, take whichever is moving: the shop is right off the 110 and easy from the 405 and the 710.

Redondo Beach questions we hear
Is Cybertruck glass easier or harder to tint than a Model 3?
Different rather than easier. There is almost no curve to shrink, but the corners are sharp and the panes are large, so the pattern has to be exact and the edges clean. The rear window in particular is tall and takes a big single sheet. It is quoted by model at the shop like every Tesla.
How long is the drive from Redondo Beach for Tesla tint?
Around a quarter of an hour. Redondo Beach is one of the closer cities the shop serves, and Tesla owners drive in from more than 100 miles away for the same ceramic install. Book a slot, drive over, and the truck is done in a few hours.
Will tint on a Cybertruck interfere with its cameras?
No. The forward cameras look through a window in the windshield that stays clear, the pillar and fender cameras are not covered, and the rear camera is in the tailgate area rather than the glass. Ceramic film has no metal, so none of the truck's radios or the phone key are affected.
What does ceramic film do that a cheaper dyed film does not?
Ceramic rejects heat, not just light. A dyed film darkens the glass but lets most of the heat through and tends to fade or turn purple over time. Ceramic film holds its color, keeps the cabin cooler, and has no metal layer to interfere with electronics. It is the only film Tesla Tint LA puts on a Tesla.
Can I get a dash camera installed on the Cybertruck during the tint?
Yes. Dash camera installation is a frequent add-on, with the wiring hidden along the headliner and pillar so nothing hangs loose. Audio MotorSports does it in the same bay as the tint. Mention it when you book so enough time is set aside for both.
