One-piece rear window tint
The back glass on a Model 3 and Model Y is one large curved panel; the film is shrunk and fitted as a single piece so there is no seam and no lifted corner later.

A ceramic window tint cuts the infrared heat that comes through side glass on a harbor-side afternoon, and it does it without a dark mirror look.
Fronts stay at the shade California allows and are matched to the rear so the car reads as one tone from the sidewalk.
Teslas carry speakers and electronics close to the rear window, and that area gets covered and protected before any water or film touches the panel.
The same bay handles car stereo installation, car alarms, remote start and dash camera installation if you want to bundle a visit.
It is about 5.7 miles from Long Beach to the shop, roughly 11 to 14 minutes when traffic is normal. Hours are Monday to Saturday 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, closed Sunday. Set an appointment, then drop the car or wait at the shop; either works. You can wait inside with free Wi-Fi, Netflix on the TV, seating, a restroom and a water fountain, or walk to the mall, a movie theater or a Starbucks nearby while the Long Beach job is finished. Long Beach is home to many of our LGBTQ customers, and everyone is welcome at the shop; it is on our Google and Yelp pages and it is how we work. Three freeways lead here: we are right off the 110, and the 405 and 710 drop you close by, whichever way Long Beach traffic sends you.
All Tesla models are quoted by model at the shop, not from a chart. If you want a non-Tesla reference point, the standard window tint at this bay is Solar $249 or Solar Ceramic $329 installed, as of October 2026. Payment plan available, ask Nick. Questions
The film is heat-shrunk to the curve of the glass on the outside first, then moved inside and laid as a single sheet. That is slower than splitting it into pieces, but it leaves no visible seam and nothing for the sun to peel back in a year.
They do, and Long Beach is one of the shortest trips on this site. Customers come from Temecula and San Diego for Tesla tint, so an 11 to 14 minute drive is nothing. You get a shop that works on Tesla glass constantly instead of once a month.
The work is done at the Carson shop only, which is why the drive is so short for Long Beach. Book by phone or text, come up to 22025 S Avalon Blvd, and the car is tinted in the bay by the same crew every time.
Ceramic film contains no metal, so the antenna lines in the glass keep working and the phone key is unaffected. The rear camera sits outside the glass, and the small windows the cameras look through are left clear during the install.
Each model is quoted at the shop because the glass differs so much. A Model X has far more front glass than a Model 3, and the Cybertruck has its own flat panels. Call with the model and year and Nick gives you the number before you leave Long Beach.
