A Tesla has cameras in the windshield, the B-pillars, the fenders and the trunk lid, plus antennas and a phone-key receiver that all rely on clean signals. Our ceramic film is non-metallic and the film is cut around the camera zones, so Autopilot, the phone key and the cellular connection are unchanged after tint.
Every model gets ceramic film shaped to its glass, with a one-piece rear window on the sedans and SUVs and a board-cut flat install on the truck.
A visor strip along the top of the windshield cuts glare without entering the camera area.
The factory roof glass is already dark, so the heat control comes from ceramic film on the doors and rear glass, which keeps the cabin cooler without changing the look.

Each camera zone on the glass is marked before cutting. The windshield housing stays clear, the pillar cameras are outside the door glass entirely, and the film is trimmed to leave them open. We do not cover a camera and cut it out later, because that leaves a ragged edge and a scratch risk.
Not with the film we use. Metallic films can weaken signals; ceramic film has no metal in it, so the phone key, the app connection and the cellular data pass through the glass the same as before. That is the main reason we install ceramic on Teslas.
Yes. Forty-some minutes each way gets you a shop that tints Teslas every day, with the cameras handled right and the rear glass done in one piece. Owners drive in from much farther than La Habra Heights for exactly this. Book a morning slot and you are home for dinner.
You can. A dash camera on a Tesla is wired to a fused source with the cable hidden along the headliner and the pillar trim, so there is no loose cord. It adds time to the visit, so tell us when you call from La Habra Heights and we will set aside enough of the day.
Autopilot cameras are not behind the tinted door glass, so shade does not affect them. The front doors are limited by California law to a shade that passes 70% of visible light; ceramic film at that level still cuts most of the heat. The rear can go darker without touching any camera.
