The Model 3 and Model Y rear glass is a big, deeply curved panel. A lot of shops split it into two or three strips because shrinking one sheet to that curve takes skill. We shrink it in one piece on the outside of the glass, then move it inside, so the back window has no visible seam.
Model 3, Model Y, Model S, Model X and Cybertruck all get the same ceramic film, with the shade matched to your preference and the front doors kept at the California legal level.
For owners who park in the open, film on the doors and the one-piece rear window is the work that changes the cabin temperature most.
Tesla doors are frameless, so the film edge is cut to sit just below the seal, where it cannot peel when the window drops.
Audio MotorSports installs car alarms, remote start, GPS trackers, dash cameras and car audio under the same roof, so a Fullerton trip can cover a second job.
Count on about 19.7 miles and roughly 39 to 47 minutes outside rush hour. Shop hours are Monday through Saturday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, closed Sunday. The shop is LGBTQ-friendly and everyone from Fullerton is welcome. Coming from Fullerton, take whichever is moving: the shop is right off the 110 and easy from the 405 and the 710.

Because the rear window is the glass you look through in the mirror all day. Film laid in strips leaves lines that catch the light. A single sheet, heat-shrunk to the curve before it is installed, looks like dark factory glass with nothing to see from inside or out.
Not at all. Owners come to this shop from more than 100 miles away for Tesla work, and Fullerton is under an hour outside rush hour. Book a morning slot, drop the car off, and in most cases it is ready the same day.
No. The film goes on over the defroster lines after the glass is cleaned carefully, and the lines keep working. We give the film a few days to cure before you run the defroster, then it is normal use from there. Nothing is scraped or scored on the glass.
It cannot. The rear camera sits in the trunk lid, not on the glass, and the ceramic film has no metal to disturb antennas. The side glass camera areas on the pillars are left clear, so every camera and the phone key work exactly as before.
As dark as you like. California limits only the front doors, which must pass 70% of visible light. Rear doors and the rear glass have no restriction. Most owners pick a dark rear with a legal front, and we show samples on your glass before cutting.
