Cybertruck and Tesla Window Tint for Sylmar Owners
Sylmar Tesla owners, Cybertruck drivers among them, make the roughly 35-mile trip to Tesla Tint LA by Audio MotorSports in Carson, 22025 S Avalon Blvd Ste A, for ceramic window tint. The Cybertruck's flat glass and square corners are patterned to the trim line on a glass board, and the big rear window is covered as one piece. The figure for each model is set at the shop.

Tesla tint for Sylmar, Cybertruck first
Model 3 and Model Y
Curved frameless door glass and a tall rear window, heat-formed on the board and applied with the edge on the glass line.
Model S and Model X
The longest doors on the S and the tallest glass on the X. More shaping time and a separate figure for each.
Cameras and signals
Camera positions are masked and uncovered, and the ceramic film has no metal, so the phone key, GPS and cellular connection are not affected.
Audio MotorSports also installs dash cameras and GPS trackers on Teslas and does car stereo, CarPlay and Android Auto, car alarm, remote start and Harley bagger audio for other vehicles.
Sylmar to Carson
Sylmar is about 34.9 miles from the shop, roughly 70 to 84 minutes outside rush hour. We are open Monday through Saturday 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM and closed Sunday. Book a morning slot and plan to leave the truck for the day, or wait at the shop and drive it home. Tesla owners have come from about 120 miles away for this work, so Sylmar is well inside the usual range.
You can wait inside with free Wi-Fi, Netflix on the TV, seating, a restroom and a water fountain, or walk to the mall, a movie theater or a Starbucks nearby while the Sylmar job is finished. The shop is LGBTQ-friendly and everyone from Sylmar is welcome. From Sylmar you can reach us by the 110, the 405 or the 710; the shop is right off the 110 at Avalon Blvd.

Sylmar questions we hear
Is Sylmar too far from Carson for Cybertruck tint?
No. Owners have driven from San Diego, roughly 120 miles, and have called from as far as San Jose about Tesla tint here. From Sylmar it is a little over an hour outside rush hour, and the Cybertruck's flat panels are worth having cut to the trim line by a shop that does it regularly.
What makes Cybertruck tint different from a Model 3?
The glass is flat instead of curved, with square corners and straight trim lines. Curved glass is heat-formed; Cybertruck panels are patterned to the trim on a glass board so the edges line up exactly. The rear window is one sheet either way.
Do you tint the other Tesla models for Sylmar owners?
Yes: Model 3, Model Y, Model S and Model X, each with its own pattern and its own figure at the shop. The S and X take longer because of the glass size. Text us with the year and model for a quote.
Will the Cybertruck cameras, sensors or phone key change after tint?
No. Camera positions are masked before the glass is prepped and the film pattern stops short of them. The ceramic film carries no metal, so the phone key, cellular data and GPS pass through the glass as before.
How should a Sylmar owner plan the day?
Book the earliest slot available, drop the Cybertruck off, and either wait at the shop or head out and return in the afternoon. Keep the windows up for several days while the film sets. Call us to set the time before you leave Sylmar.
