Should I tint a brand-new Tesla right away?
Yes, if you can. A new car has clean glass, no adhesive from a previous film and no sun damage to the interior yet. Tinting in the first weeks means the seats and dash are protected from day one, and the ceramic film goes on in a single appointment with no stripping.
How quick is the trip from Palos Verdes Estates to Carson?

Do I need to wait before rolling the windows down?
Yes, for a few days. The film needs time to cure to the glass, and moving the window too soon can catch the edge. Nick will tell you the exact window for your car at pickup. After that, roll them as you like; the film is bonded and will not shift.
Is a new Model Y already dark overhead, or does the cabin still get hot?
The factory roof glass on a Model Y is already dark, and the shop leaves it alone. What heats a parked cabin is the door glass and the big rear window, so those get ceramic film. Most new owners notice the difference on the first hot afternoon after delivery.
