Model Y window tint
The hatch glass is big and curved, and one sheet of ceramic film is shrunk to it so there is no seam in the mirror. The doors are frameless; the film edge is cut to sit below the seal so it never lifts.

The 3 is the shorter version of the same job, the S and X need more shaping, and the Cybertruck is flat panes cut on a board. Each quoted by model.
The factory roof glass is already dark; ceramic film on the door and hatch glass cuts what lands on the front seats.
No metal in the film and camera zones left clear, so the phone key and Autopilot do not change.
Audio MotorSports also installs dash cameras, GPS trackers, Viper alarms, remote start and car audio in the same bay.

Other work is quoted at the shop. Payment plan available, ask Nick. Google 4.8 (655 reviews) and Yelp 4.7 (777 reviews), as of October 2026.
Questions
The hatch is the slow part. The doors are cut and installed fairly quickly, but the hatch glass has to be heat-shrunk as a single sheet until the film follows the curve, which takes patience. The payoff is a rear window with no lines across it.
The Model Y has a curved hatch, frameless doors and cameras in the glass, all things a shop needs to handle regularly. Owners drive much farther than La Mirada for this, and the car is usually ready the same day you drop it off.
No. The film has no metallic layer, so the phone key, the app and cellular data work as before. The camera housing at the top of the windshield stays uncovered, and the pillar and fender cameras do not sit behind film. Autopilot is unaffected after the install.
California limits the front door glass to a shade that passes 70% of visible light; the rear doors and hatch glass have no limit. Ceramic film at the legal front shade still cuts most of the heat, so light fronts with a dark rear is the usual choice.
Yes. The dash camera is wired to a fused source with the cable hidden behind the headliner and pillar trim, so nothing hangs from the mirror. It adds time to the visit, so tell us when you book and plan to drop the car off rather than wait.
