Cybertruck Window Tint for Sierra Madre Tesla Owners
Sierra Madre Tesla owners, including Cybertruck drivers, make the roughly 32-mile trip to Tesla Tint LA by Audio MotorSports in Carson, 22025 S Avalon Blvd Ste A, for ceramic window tint. Tesla tint for Sierra Madre, Cybertruck first
Model 3 and Model Y curved glass
The opposite problem: curved doors and a tall rear window that need heat to shape the film. The panels are formed on the board and the edge is run to the glass line on the frameless doors.
Model S and Model X
The longest doors in the lineup on the S and the tallest glass on the X. More shaping time, more film, and a separate quote for each.
Camera zones and signals
The camera cluster and side repeaters are masked and stay uncovered. The film is ceramic with no metal content, so the phone key, GPS and cellular reception are not affected.

Sierra Madre to Carson
Sierra Madre is about 32.3 miles from the shop, roughly 65 to 78 minutes outside rush hour. We are open Monday through Saturday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and closed Sunday. Book ahead and plan to leave the truck for the day, or wait at the shop and take it home in one trip. That distance is normal for Tesla tint here; owners have made the drive from San Diego.
For a longer job from Sierra Madre, some people walk to the mall, the movie theaters or a coffee shop nearby; the DoubleTree down the street has a full bar, and Cabrillo Beach is about 12 minutes away. We are LGBTQ-friendly and everyone is welcome; it is how the shop runs. The shop sits right off the 110 freeway, with easy access from the 405 and the 710 as well, so three freeways lead to it from Sierra Madre.

Sierra Madre questions we hear
Is Carson too far from Sierra Madre for Cybertruck tint?
No. Owners drive from well beyond Sierra Madre, including from Temecula and San Diego, for Tesla tint at this shop. At 32 miles it is a little over an hour outside rush hour, which is a fair trade for Cybertruck panels cut to the trim line instead of trimmed on the truck.
What is hard about tinting a Cybertruck?
The edges. Flat glass with square corners makes any gap between film and trim obvious, so each panel is patterned on a glass board to the exact trim line. The large rear glass is handled as one piece rather than two strips.
Do you also tint Model 3, Model Y, Model S and Model X?
Yes, all of them. Those four have curved glass that is heat-formed to shape rather than cut flat, and each has its own pattern and labor time. Pricing is given by model at the shop; text us with the year and model.
Will the Cybertruck cameras and phone key keep working after tint?
Yes. Camera positions are masked before the glass is prepped and the film stops short of them. The ceramic film is non-metallic, so the phone key, cellular data and GPS pass through as they did before. Nothing about the truck's driver assistance changes.
How should a Sierra Madre owner plan the trip?
Book a morning slot so the whole day is available. Drop the Cybertruck off and head back, or wait at the shop and drive it home once the film is on. Keep the windows up for several days afterward while the film sets to the glass.
