Tesla Tint LA is the Tesla window tint arm of Audio MotorSports, 22025 S Avalon Blvd Ste A in Carson, roughly 7.4 miles from Paramount. The drive from Paramount
From Paramount to the shop is about 7.4 miles, call it 15 to 18 minutes outside rush hour. Hours are Monday to Saturday 9:30 to 6:00, closed Sunday. Set an appointment, then decide whether to wait at the shop or leave the car and get picked up; both work. If you would rather wait inside than make two trips from Paramount, the shop has seating, a TV with Netflix, free Wi-Fi, a restroom and a water fountain. The shop is LGBTQ-friendly and everyone from Paramount is welcome. The shop sits right off the 110 freeway, with easy access from the 405 and the 710 as well, so three freeways lead to it from Paramount.

Paramount questions we hear
Is the Model S harder to tint than a Model 3?
It takes more time, mostly because of the window length and the hatch glass. The film for the long side windows has to be heat-shaped so it hugs the curve edge to edge, and the rear piece is large. Done patiently it looks factory; rushed, it shows. That is why Model S work is quoted on its own.
How far is Paramount from your Carson shop?
About 7.4 miles, so 15 to 18 minutes of driving when traffic is normal. Plenty of Paramount owners book a morning slot, drop the car, and have it back by afternoon. Compared with the customers who come in from more than 100 miles out, it is a quick trip for the same install.
Will ceramic tint get in the way of my Tesla's phone key or cameras?
No. Ceramic film has no metal in it, so Bluetooth from your phone key, the card reader on the pillar and the cellular antenna all keep working. The camera lenses in the windshield and the side repeaters are never covered; the film stops short of every sensor window.
Can I get car audio or an alarm done on the same Paramount trip?
Yes. Audio MotorSports is one shop with one bay, so a Tesla tint appointment can be paired with speaker replacement, a subwoofer installation or a dash camera install. Mention it when you book so Nick can block enough time for both jobs in one visit.
Why does Tesla Tint LA quote by model instead of listing a Tesla price?
Because the glass is different on every model. A Model S hatch, a Model Y one-piece rear pane and a Cybertruck's flat panels each take a different amount of film and labor. Nick quotes by model at the shop after looking at the car, so the number is right the first time.
