The falcon-wing doors carry curved glass that opens upward, so the film has to be shaped to the curve and cut to clear the hinge-side seals. The front doors are tall and the windshield is enormous; we tint only the legal zones and leave the camera area clear.

The trip is about 10 miles, roughly 20 to 24 minutes outside rush hour. Shop hours run Monday through Saturday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with Sunday closed. Make an appointment, then choose: hand us the keys and come back later, or wait at the shop while the Model X is finished.

The falcon-wing doors. Their glass is curved, hinged at the roof and sealed differently from a normal door, so the film is shaped to the curve and cut so the door opens and closes without catching an edge. The front doors are taller than a Model S too. It is more labor, which is why it is quoted by model.
Tesla owners drive here from much farther than that, some from well over 100 miles. Ten miles is a short run for film that is cut to the glass, shrunk flat, and kept clear of the cameras. A redo elsewhere costs more than the extra miles would.
No. The film is non-metallic, so it does not interfere with the cameras, the phone key or the cellular signal. We leave the camera zones on the glass uncovered and keep the film away from the sensor housings, so Autopilot features see exactly what they saw before.
You can, but book them as two appointments so each gets its own time in the bay. A Tesla with every window done can fill most of a day. Call and we will line both cars up on a schedule that works, and you can drop them off together.
Ceramic film is made for exactly this kind of sun. It does not turn purple or bubble the way cheap dyed film does, and the heat rejection stays steady over the years. Keep the windows up for a few days after the install so the film bonds fully.
