Tinting a new Tesla from Orange

The film is hand-cut on a glass board and fitted to the gasket. It cuts heat and glare without touching the signals your phone key and navigation rely on.
Legal fronts

Getting here from Orange

How soon after delivery can I tint a new Tesla?
Right away. Tesla glass needs no break-in period, and the sooner film goes on, the sooner the cabin stays cooler. Book an appointment, bring the car in as delivered, and the installer starts with a full clean of every window.
Is it worth driving from Orange to Carson for Tesla window tint?
Yes, if you want a careful install. Customers have driven from Temecula and San Diego, about 120 miles, for it. Orange is well inside that range, and an appointment keeps your time at the shop short and planned.
Will tint void anything or interfere with my new Tesla?
Ceramic film does not block radio signals, so the key, cell, GPS and Wi-Fi keep working. Cameras and sensors stay clear.### Which windows do you tint on a new Model 3 or Model Y? The side windows and rear glass get film. The roof glass is already dark from the factory, so it is left as is. Front windows follow the California legal shade, and the shop quotes the whole job by model.
Can I wait at the shop while my new Tesla is tinted?
You can. There is seating, Netflix, Wi-Fi and a restroom, and plenty of people stay for the whole job. Others prefer to leave the car and return later. Whichever you choose, call or text first to reserve the time.
